When you use Pulse, we may collect the following information:

a. Gmail / Outlook Data (Email & Calendar):

  • Message metadata (e.g., sender, recipient, timestamp)
  • Email body content
  • Calendar events (title, description, participants, times)
  • Attachments (only if required for specific features)

b. User Profile Information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Organization
  • Email ID and access tokens (stored securely)

c. Usage Data:

  • Login times
  • API request logs
  • Feature usage patterns

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

  • Generate sales insights and communication summaries
  • Track deals, meetings, and client engagement
  • Identify relationship patterns and sales opportunities
  • Improve Pulse's features and user experience
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes.

3. Data Processing

Historical Import: Upon account connection, we conduct a bulk paginated import of past Outlook emails and calendar events.

Ongoing Sync: We continuously process new emails and calendar invites every 5 minutes asynchronously.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored using industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest.
  • OAuth tokens are securely stored and automatically refreshed.
  • Access to your data is strictly limited to essential personnel and systems for processing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting contact@pulsespot.ai.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access or export your data
  • Request deletion or correction
  • Withdraw consent and disconnect your Outlook account
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

7. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We may use SOC-2 compliant third-party services (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics tools) to support the app. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your data.

When you connect your Google account, we may access Gmail and Google Calendar data solely to provide Pulse features. We do not share or disclose Google user data with any third party except:

  • To our trusted cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (for secure storage and processing)
  • As required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

We never sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You will be notified of material changes through the app or via email.
